Meet the team

Ann grew up on a farm and this is where her love of animals began. She has worked in the animal field throughout her lifetime. She has gained medical knowledge by working in the veterinary field for more than 7 years. Ann took that knowledge and applied that to training. As she worked with dogs in terms of obedience, she realized the challenges were not always behavioral in nature but also medical.

She went on to work with guide dogs and VA service dogs. Ann started breeding dogs in 2000 with Mandolina's Boxer's 

Ann has two breeds of choice that she loves working with — her English Golden Retrievers and European German Shepherds. The latter are fearless, agile, very clever, inherently loyal, and happiest when they spend their time with their owner, never leaving their side. They yearn for companionship and thrive in a family environment. 

They become attached to children and other pets quickly and they take excellent care of puppies, injured animals, and vulnerable people. They make excellent guide dogs, military service dogs, and search and rescue dogs.

Ann has witnessed many genetic defects that could have been avoided with the proper testing prior to breeding. She strives for excellence in creating what she considers to be the perfect puppies, and achieving impressive results. As an obedience/therapy/service trainer and an AKC evaluator, she ensures her puppies will be given every opportunity to excel with their new families.
